The course is designed for professionals and academics who are involved in planning and implementing immunisation programmes and projects. Targets participants include government representatives from national, provincial and district levels, members of National Immunization Technical Advisory Groups, Global Alliance for Vaccines and Immunisations programme managers, other policymakers, and academics.

The hands-on approach gives participants the opportunity to perform basic analyses using complex inputs. Participants are guided step by step to build a Markov model using Microsoft Excel.
The workshop is designed for professionals and academics with some experience in conducting cost-effective analyses. Participants should be familiar with approaches in economic evaluation and proficient in Microsoft Excel.
